European Regulation in matters of international successions

The purpose of the Regulation is to facilitate the circulation and recognition of authentic instruments and court settlements in matters of succession on the territory of all the participating Member States. It introduces a streamlined procedure, distinct from the apostille and ordinary rules on legalisation, which should be set aside.
